    Helen Stevens

    DPP Board Chair and Director of Broadcast Operations, ITV

    Helen is responsible for all ITV’s content supply chain from the point of commissioning through to distribution to the customer and beyond. She is a board director at Clearcast (which she set up in collaboration with other broadcasters, following the integration of BACC and TV Eye) and ISAN UK and has directorial responsibility for Signpost Access Services.

    DPP Board Member and Chief Technology Officer at Channel 4

    As the CTO at Channel 4, Orpheus oversees both Technology Strategy and Broadcast, with direct responsibility for Technology Architecture, R&D and both Broadcast and Non-Linear Operations and Distribution.Orpheus was instrumental in the design and launch of the Channel’s pioneering 4oD Video On Demand product and has provided technical oversight of its expansion and monetisation across an ever increasing number of devices and syndication platforms, including its latest evolution into ‘All 4’. Orpheus has driven the adoption of ‘Cloud’ technologies within the Channel to power the company’s Big Data and Online platforms, and continues to explore the opportunities presented by the increasing degree of convergence between linear and non-linear distribution.

    David Pembrey

    DPP Board Member and Head of Funding & Commercial, BBC

    David is the Head of Funding & Commercial for all Factual & Daytime content commissioned by the BBC – over two thousand hours of programming from the across UK supply base – as well as overseeing a number of non-linear initiatives and projects. David previously worked in production for BBC Studios – delivering a range of credits from high-end landmark co-productions to observational documentaries – also spending 2 years running a BBC post-production facility, supporting technological changes and innovations in programme-making.
