What We Do

The DPP brings together colleagues from all parts of the television content supply chain to gather insights, shape and deliver change.

We do this in three principal ways:

The DPP organises a wide range of events. We have specialist events for Manufacturer & Supplier and Post Production Members, as well as Meet The… events, allowing DPP Members to hear from all parts of the broadcast industry and media supply chain. The DPP also holds open events, available to Members and non-Members. And, an exclusive, invitation-only, change leadership event, DPP AT HOME.

The DPP publishes a number of guides and reports. All of these are available in full to Members. A few are also available to non-Members. There are a number of specific technical and production guides. We have a series of quick guides called 10 Things You Need to Know About. We have also produced a number of survey reports and industry insight reports.

The DPP has a number of workstreams, which vary depending on our current activity. Each of these workstreams has a process of consultation with DPP Members. Central to these workstreams is the work we do around technical specifications and our Compliance Programme.
